The 22nd Congress of the European Neurological Society (ENS), which was held in the Prague Congress Centre from the 9th to the 12th of June, had a total of 3,000 experts participating from around the world to discuss the issues of neuropsychic diseases such as Parkinson's disease, anxiety, migraine, depression and sleep disorders. The central focus of the congress were recent discoveries related to Parkinson's disease, one of the most common degenerative disorders of the nervous system. Other topics of the congress were, for example, the influence of the development of new technologies on the treatment of epilepsy as well as the increasing incidences of migraines in children caused mainly by stress and computers.
