Thousands of runners came to Letná park in Prague during the nonstop 10-day event. Thanks to sponsors and partners of the event, disadvantaged children were helped by running kilometres with the unbelievable amount summing up to 3 844 922 Czech crowns. The C-IN company, which is strongly connected to TMF due to long-term partnership, contributed to the event with its quality services and years of experience in this area.
Running and walking were all accounted for along the mapped route in Letenské sady, which measured the combined distance of 1,3 kilometres. For every kilometre recorded on the chip, partners of the event donated 10 Czech crowns to the selected project. The biggest surprise for organisers was the unexpected ten-fold bonus increase of the amount, making the final sum an amazing 3 844 922 Czech crowns, which will support and help the particular fates of children.
A total of 4 234 runners were involved in the event and collectively ran 60 287,04 kilometres. From this, there were 1 294 men, 2 341 women and 599 children under 14 years of age. The overall winner was Mr. Štefan Krč who ran an incredible 555,72 kilometres.
