The Tereza Maxova Foundation has been organizing Fashion for Kids charity fashion shows since 2004. As the name of the charity shows suggests, the world of fashion has joined its forces for a good cause - to help abandoned children in the Czech Republic. In addition, the show has had a special theme to highlight a specific issue or message every year.
This year’s theme “Insight” can be interpreted not only as an insight into difficulties of abandoned children, an issue the Foundation has been dealing with for seventeen years, but also as an insight into a child’s soul, feelings, dreams and wishes.
The participants had the opportunity to admire the fashion of the Italian fashion house Costume National this year. Apart from that, a selection of Czech brands, namely Klara Nademlynska, Katerina Geislerova, Jakub Polanka and many other, all selected by the Italian edition of Vogue, presented their creations. Fashion for Kids charity fashion shows have already showcased clothes from fashion houses such as Missoni, Elie Saab, Vivienne Westwood, Osmany Laffita and many others.
The charity fashion show brought more than 8 million CZK to the Tereza Maxova Foundation and altogether, the charity fashion shows have secured 45 million CZK for disadvantaged and abandoned children.
C-IN organised all of the past Fashion for Kids and is looking forward to the 10th Jubilee fashion show.
