The 22nd European Symposium on Patient Adherence, COMpliance and Persistence was held from November 29th to December 1st 2018 in Royal Marine Hotel in Dublin, Ireland. This year´s special focus was put on Implementation Science and Polypharmacy. ESPACOMP is an association that deals with problems concerning the quantitative assessment of what patients do with medicines they have been prescribed, and also mediates useful information from researchers to patients, healthcare providers and healthcare policy makers. An increasing number of academics, researchers, pharmacoepidemiologists and industry people join the conference every year and we were pleased to invite everyone to this year´s conference to the Land of Saints and Scholars, Ireland.
