The symposium is now jointly organised by a strong coalition of the European College of Porcine Health Management and the European Association of Porcine Health Management. Over the previous years, the ESPHM symposium attendance had constantly increased, along with the significance of the whole symposium, which had become a major event in Europe.
The symposium itself is designed to promote the communication and dissemination of knowledge in relation to the management of pig health. It also provides an overview of the current status and ongoing activities in both porcine science and the practical aspects of porcine health. This 3 day event brought a range of delegates from the porcine industry including veterinary practitioners, porcine breeders and farm producers, researchers in universities and research institutes and pharmaceutical companies.
