A traditional meeting of Czech and Slovak doctors, geneticists, biochemists, analysts and scientists, who are dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of patients with inherited metabolic disorders, was held in the beautiful, historic town "Tábor". The rich scientific programme consisted of lectures, moderated poster presentations and the main speaker of the conference was Gr. Stephanie Grünewald from Great Ormond Street Hospital, London. Along with the acquisition of new knowledge, the focus of the meeting was also the social aspect. A welcome dinner was held in conference hotel Dvořák and the social programme took place in Housuv mlyn. The dinner and programme were conceived in the Middle Ages style.
