The show must go on...

On Friday, April 15th, a memorial gathering was held in honour of the recently deceased co-founder of C-IN, Peter de Merlier. An untraditional event and in its own way, just like Peter himself, welcomed alongside his family, friends and colleagues a number of longstanding partners, who had the opportunity to work closely with Peter over the years. With the theme being "No more sorrow, no more black", everyone gathered in Žofín Garden to remember the good memories with a concert and delicious food and drinks.
The overall organization of the commemorative event was taken on by the CEO of C-IN, Petr Marhoul, who not only had a close friendship with Peter, but also a common vision on how to start organizing medical and scientific congresses professionally at a European level, but in "their own way". The image of an international business environment, which was highly supported by Peter, was also reflected in the concept of the evening with a toast complemented by Belgian beer and a great musical performance by the Australian member of the C-IN team.
On behalf of the whole C-IN team, we would like to thank you for your sincere condolences. A visionary mind-set and a different view on things are some of the many aspects that Peter brought to the company and it will be our challenge and aim to sustain them when deciding on the direction of C-IN in its future stages of operation.

Growing your Association´s membership base: Communication is key
It goes without saying that the membership curve grows faster if the association holds a congress in that given year. Discounted registration fees and other benefits are an easy attraction.
