The most important conference in neurosonology in Prague for the first time

The European Society of Neurosonology and Celebratory Hemodynamics (ESNCH) is the most prestigious event in its field, and C-IN has had the honor to organize its this year in Prague. The 23rd meeting of the society took place at the Diplomat Hotel and partly at Motol hospital in Prague from 13 to 16 April.
Over 340 delegates from 43 countries participated at the conference this year. The scope of the conference was quite broad and the spectrum of the guests as well - the event was attended by neurosonologists, neurologists, radiologists, internists, cardiologists, neurosurgeons and there were also interesting topics for anesthetists and psychiatrists. Over the four days, all of them had the chance to share their knowledge, methods, and experience. The first two days of the conference took place at Motol Hospital, where not only lectures but also practical meetings took place with about 40 patients. At the lecture hall in Motol, participants could see an unexpected online streaming of an operation in Chicago. This was a moment of surprise also for the C-IN IT team, who had not been informed about such online streaming beforehand, however, everything went well without any technical problems.
The ESNCH2018 conference was hosted by the prof. David Školoudík, who delivered the welcome speech at the opening ceremony. According to C-IN project manager Karolína Tyršová, the conference was successful. "The biggest challenge for me were the practical lectures with patients at Motol Hospital, it was something different, but everything was fine at the end." Growing your Association´s membership base: Communication is key
It goes without saying that the membership curve grows faster if the association holds a congress in that given year. Discounted registration fees and other benefits are an easy attraction. But what if the conference is held every two or even three years? The expectations for the number of members are logically lower, but one should not simply disregard this as a non-congress year.
