The major gathering of European kidney specialists and C-IN belongs together.

After months of complex preparations, the 53rd European Renal Association – European Dialysis And Transplant Association (ERA-EDTA) Congress was held in the Austria Center Vienna from the 21st to the 24th of May, 2016. The meeting was attended by more than 8000 delegates.
Every year, the association of European kidney specialists, ERA-EDTA organizes the congress in one of the principal European cities and thus provides an important forum for several thousand professionals in the field of nephrology. This key objective of the event is to discuss the most up-to-date knowledge of medical science and clinical work in nephrology, dialysis, renal transplantation and related subjects.
After successful collaboration during the 48th ERA-EDTA Congress in Prague, hosted in the Prague Congress Centre in 2011, C-IN was appointed by the ERA-EDTA association as the organising partner for Vienna. This commitment included the role of the official housing agent as well as organisation of the charity Run for Kidneys and other social events.
Apart from a variety of onsite duties at the venue, the C-IN team was also in Vienna to discuss all details of their candidacy for future editions of the ERA-EDTA Congress. Candidacy preparations for both 2019 and 2021 make it the fourth opportunity for C-IN to participate on the ERA-EDTA congresses.
