Over 5000 Higher Education Professionals Stepped Into a New Era in Prague.
Last week, approximately 5000 higher education professionals from 88 countries gathered in the Prague Congress Centre, Czech Republic for the largest international higher education conference in Europe, the 26th Annual EAIE Conference.
The Conference of the European Association for International Education (EAIE) has established itself as an important forum and attracts up to five thousand delegates every year. "Stepping into a new era" was chosen as this year's theme as the dynamic field of international education is undergoing some of the greatest transformations ever in all aspects of teaching, learning and administration.
Participants were engaged in the conference programme over the four conference days, which contained more than 170 sessions, 29 workshops and 4 high-level dialogues. Networking events, which took place every evening of the conference, also provided participants the opportunity to strengthen their connections and develop new partnerships.
The EAIE Exhibition, which ran alongside the conference, enabled up to 200 exhibitors to showcase their products and services and included country pavilions from around the world.
Two keynote speakers, Chairman of Microsoft Europe, Jan Muehlfeit and Jan Hudeček, Lord Mayor of Prague, enriched the Opening Plenary on Wednesday, September 17th with their speeches.
The EAIE Association entrusted the local organisation of the conference to C-IN. C-IN provided a wide spectrum of services ranging from on-site assistance and signage to accommodation, transportation, catering and social programmes. Being the largest conference to be organised this year in the Czech Republic, C-IN is proud to have been a part of it.
The project developer for EAIE 2014, Monika Valterova commented: "It was a delight to manage a conference of such enthusiastic people who have a fresh view of today's education system."

It goes without saying that the membership curve grows faster if the association holds a congress in that given year. Discounted registration fees and other benefits are an easy attraction.
