Fashion for Kids Gala Nights Help Disadvantaged and Abandoned Children

Business News | November 19, 2013

This year's Fashion for Kids charity show took place in the Municipal House in Prague on the 18th of November. It was organized by C-IN for the ninth year. The company was responsible not only for the production of the event, but also for services such as casting, fitting, etc.

The Tereza Maxova Foundation has been organizing Fashion for Kids charity fashion shows since 2004. As the name of the charity shows suggests, the world of fashion has joined its forces for a good cause - to help abandoned children in the Czech Republic. In addition, the show has had a special theme to highlight a specific issue or message every year. This year's theme "Insight" can be interpreted not only as an insight into difficulties of abandoned children, an issue the Foundation has been dealing with for seventeen years, but also as an insight into a child's soul, feelings, dreams and wishes.

From the year 2004, the event has been organized by C-IN. The first year took place at Palace Zofin and hosted about 500 guests, among whom was the Prince of Monaco Albert II. From then on, the guests, along with sponsors, have been increasing in numbers. This year's attendance was estimated at 1 200.

The charity fashion show brought more than 8 million CZK to the Tereza Maxova Foundation and altogether, the charity fashion shows have secured 45 million CZK for disadvantaged and abandoned children.

'We value it highly than we have been part of all Fashion for Kids events for all those years and thus make our contribution to help underprivileged children,' says Director of Operations of C-IN and Tereza Maxova's brother Tomas Maxa, adding: 'Apart from the charity fashion shows, we also undertook the organization of several fairs and the Prague's Day for Kids with Tereza Maxova Foundation'.

C-IN organised all of the past Fashion for Kids and is looking forward to the 10th Jubilee fashion show. Now C-IN is getting ready for another recurring event, which is the REVLON Professional Style Masters gala show for world's top hairdressers, taking place in Lisbon in the first half of 2014.
