Conference on particle therapy shows enormous interest from delegates.

Spring 2016 will be very busy for the C-IN team. Another congress promising to become one of the major events of the year is the 55th Annual Conference of the Particle Therapy Co-operative Group (PTCOG 55), which will be held from the 22nd until the 28th of May, 2016 in the Prague Congress Centre. Thousands of views from all around the world found on the congress website imply a significant interest in attending PTCOG 55.
Particle therapy is getting stronger around the world with the number of proton centres and patients under treatment growing. This simultaneously increases the clinical experience and public awareness especially in the Czech environment.
“PTCOG 55 is a great opportunity to provide many new, predominantly technical and clinical results that will become a turning point in this field and will further accelerate the development and acceptance of particle therapy in radiation oncology“ say PTCOG 55 Hosts Iva Taťounová, Jiří Kubeš and Vladimír Vondráček.
Members of the C-IN team are processing the rising number of registrations and are deep in the preparations of the scientific program. In the recent past they also visited San Diego for PTCOG 54 to observe and learn from the ongoing meeting and promote the Prague´s edition. There is also a strong connection with industry partners, which can inspire further ideas and projects.
