C-IN to Organize the World's Largest Gathering of Midwives

Every three years, the International Confederation of Midwives (ICM) stages an international gathering of midwives. The Confederation thus gives not only them, but all those with a deep interest in midwifery, an exciting opportunity to exchange knowledge, share experience and socialize with each other.

The 30th ICM Congress is being held in Prague, Czech Republic from the 1st to 5th of June 2014. With a 3,000 midwives having registered already, the Congress might break all previous attendance records. In addition, the delegates are coming from no less than 95 countries, including Nigeria, Cambodia and Malawi. Nevertheless, the most represented countries will be Australia and the United Kingdom.

During the four days, a selection of most distinguished figures in the field of midwifery will contribute to the scientific programme, thus providing all the delegates with a unique opportunity to attend more than 400 oral presentations, plenty of engaging workshops and high-quality symposia.

On Saturday the 31st of May at 2 pm, all the midwives will gather in Central Prague in an effort to set a world record of midwives singing together and get into the Guinness Book of World Records.

C-IN is providing the ICM with complete congress management services, such as scientific programme management, complete conference logistics including delegate registration and accommodation, on-site communication with suppliers, website service and visa management.
