C-IN Organized the World’s Largest Meeting of Midwives

The company C-IN acted as the appointed organizer of the 30th ICM Triennal Congress. The event was held in the Prague Congress Centre on June 1 – 5, 2014.

Prague welcomed almost 4 thousand delegates from no less 126 countries. They came to attend the jubilee 30th Triennial Congress of the International Confederation of Midwives. The entire congress in Prague was accompanied by an optimistic mood, positive energy and an inspiring spirit. The Saturday's meeting on Kampa Island made it into the book of records. More than 1,563 midwives sang under the direction of the Czech Collegium orchestra. The performance was broadcast via the Internet to the entire world.

The ICM (International Confederation of Midwives) is the largest global organization in this field. It currently represents the interests of 116 member organizations from 102 countries of the world and represents approximately 300,000 midwives globally. It provides high-quality education and establishes the standards and principles of the midwifery profession.

The professional program included 434 lectures in 145 sections, 37 workshops and 36 symposiums. The largest number of midwives arrived from Australia and Great Britain. Large delegations came from Japan, Germany, Switzerland, USA, Netherlands and Norway.

The full conference management service provided by the company C-IN entailed the scientific program management (more than 1500 abstracts), participants registration (almost 4 thousand participants), a wide variety of social program activities, official pre-congress activities, transportation, catering, staff, accommodation, exhibition, production of print materials, sightseeing tours, interpretation, live streaming, public relations and other services. In the company's history, the ICM Congress represents the most comprehensive event.
