Prague welcomed almost 4 thousand delegates from no less 126 countries. They came to attend the jubilee 30th Triennial Congress of the International Confederation of Midwives. The entire congress in Prague was accompanied by an optimistic mood, positive energy and an inspiring spirit. The Saturday's meeting on Kampa Island made it into the book of records. More than 1,563 midwives sang under the direction of the Czech Collegium orchestra. The performance was broadcast via the Internet to the entire world.
