C-IN appointed as project consultant for the International Confederation of Midwives.

Bali is a pleasure island and after last week´s event, C-IN will be part of it. As a result of the site visit to the venue for the 32nd Triennial Congress of the International Confederation of Midwives (ICM) by C-IN´s Director of Operations, an extension of cooperation between C-IN and the International Confederation of Midwives was signed. Following the organisation of the legendary 30th Triennial Congress of ICM in Prague in 2014, C-IN will continue in advanced supervising and consulting services until at least 2020.
ICM is an accredited non-governmental organisation and represents midwives worldwide in order to achieve common goals in the care of mothers and newborns, representing 108 countries across every continent. The triennial congress has established itself as a leading forum in the area of midwifery, which always creates a unique community atmosphere.
„ICM now turns its attention from a spectacular 2014 Congress in Prague, and thinks about a new Congress in a new continent, with new challenges for global midwifery“, says Frances Day-Stirk, ICM President. The C-IN team is ready to find new approaches for participating in the organisation of ICM congresses in Toronto 2017 and Bali 2020. Supervising the local PCO providers and compiling a budget for the event are the main objectives of cooperation.
