“Help teachers from Third World countries to come to the Congress. Your donations will be used to create a fund for this purpose. At the beginning of the Congress we will announce how many teachers and from where were able to come thanks to your help. Thank you!”, says the registration form for the 28th International Montessori Congress (AMI 2017), which will take place in Prague during 27th – 30th of July, 2017. Delegates can contribute by arbitrary amount, therefore everyone can join according to their options and thus support the community.

The winter tradition of company kick offs received another edition for 2016. Both a reflection of the very successful season 2015 and the challenges ahead in 2016 were presented by management. Even though the C-IN team stayed in town this time we had the chance to plan an exciting winter sport.

For the last three weeks, a young man from Belgium joined our team in Prague. In the frame of the Erasmus Traineeship Program, high school students have a unique opportunity to apply their knowledge from their studies to real-life business cases. After long 16 years, the 28th International Montessori Congress (AMI 2017) will head to Europe, directly to Prague during 27th – 30th of July, 2017. The woman who brought this important international congress from the USA to the Czech Republic is Miroslava Vlčková, one of the advocates and campaigners of Montessori approach in the Czech Republic.

The C-IN team containing more than 50 members took advantage of the fresh mountain air in Spindleruv Mlyn and gathered to sum up the successful year of 2014. It also provided the perfect opportunity to get ready for the upcoming year, which will bring new challenges in the congress industry.

Last week, approximately 5000 higher education professionals from 88 countries gathered in the Prague Congress Centre, Czech Republic for the largest international higher education conference in Europe, the 26th Annual EAIE Conference.
