C-IN involved once again in the geophysics gathering.
From the 11th – 19th of July, 2016 the Prague Congress Centre hosted 2350 delegates during the 23rd Congress of the International Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ISPRS 2016). Due to recent experiences with events of similar magnitude and industry, C-IN took action as the official housing agent for ISPRS 2016 and secured more than 2600 room nights during the event.
C-IN announces another large project for 2016.
From the 12th - 19th of July, 2016 the Prague Congress Centre will host more than 4000 delegates during the 23rd Congress of the International Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ISPRS 2016). Due to recent experiences with events of similar magnitude and industry, C-IN was appointed as the official housing agent for ISPRS 2016.
The significant world congress returned to Prague after 88 years.
In 1927, when president T.G. Masaryk personally welcomed participants of IUGG (International Union of Geodesy and Geophysics) at the ceremonial opening of the third session, he could not have known that Prague would get another opportunity to host this significant international meeting in 88 years. Back then, the congress was attended by less than three hundred delegates.
26th IUGG General Assembly announces more than 5 650 received abstract submissions!
Only a couple of hours have passed since the submission deadline, however for the past several weeks members of the C-IN Scientific Department have strenuously been processing the large flow of of abstracts from delegates all around the world. So far they have received and processed 5656 abstracts. This is historicaly the highest amount for a single congress. For comparison, the number of abstracts received for all events in 2014, which summed up to 3000.
