We are proud to work with the best professionals from paediatric oncology from all over the world! Our team dedicated the first half of May to organize the 28th Annual Meeting of the International BFM Study Group in Jerusalem. This successful event took place in the Dan Jerusalem Hotel and attracted nearly 500 participants.
Radiology conference that touched both a professional and personal level.
The Congress of the European Society of Gastrointestinal and Abdominal Radiology (ESGAR 2016) took place in the Prague Congress Centre from the 12th to the 17th of June, 2016. “Nowadays a congress is full of workshops and presentations about ultrasound, MDCT, MRI, PET-CT and PET-MR, which are fundamental for every radiologist. But some things never change. ESGAR still has the same atmosphere and enthusiasm. Thanks to this congress, every year many young radiologists are inspired to devote themselves to this subspecialty of radiology,” says Prof. Vlastimil Válek, the Meeting President, uncovering one of the key objectives for organising conferences currently.
Challenges of 2 in 1 conferences
From the 23rd until the 26th of April, ancient Athens hosted a unique joint conference containing a closed access International BFM Study Group (I-BFM SG) meeting and open Biennial Childhood Leukemia Symposium (CLS). These two forums together cover in depth the major aspects on diagnosis, treatment and research of childhood leukemias and lymphomas promoting international collaboration and inspiring new therapeutic strategies. Both part of the conference require their own specifications in the organisational stage, what makes it a tricky event for the Core PCO partner.
Conference on particle therapy shows enormous interest from delegates.
Spring 2016 will be very busy for the C-IN team. Another congress promising to become one of the major events of the year is the 55th Annual Conference of the Particle Therapy Co-operative Group (PTCOG 55), which will be held from the 22nd until the 28th of May, 2016 in the Prague Congress Centre. Thousands of views from all around the world found on the congress website imply a significant interest in attending PTCOG 55.
Congress on Gastric Cancer in Prague under German – Czech organisation
Thanks to the German – Czech cooperation during the candidacy in Brazil this year, the Prague Congress Centre will welcome approximately 2000 participants for the 13th International Gastric Cancer Congress (IGCC 2019) in spring 2019. Having one of the most beautiful historical bridges, the famous Charles Bridge, Prague is a destination for symbolical building bridges in the field of gastric cancer. This disease continues to be a major health problem regardless of world region.
Jerusalem or Tel Aviv?
The C-IN team member, who is responsible for the preparation of conferences for I-BFM SG, prestigious medical forum in the research of childhood leukemia, is currently mapping destination in Israel for the conference in 2017. Together with representatives of the I-BFM, we are deciding between historical Jerusalem and the modern city of Tel Aviv.
