The European Dialysis and Transplant Nurses Association/European Renal Care Association (EDTNA/ERCA) was established in 1971 to address the special needs of nurses and other professionals that treat patients suffering from renal failure.

Since then, the Association has grown to become one of the most important forums in Europe for the exchange of information and experience for all members of the renal care team who treat patients suffering from renal failure.

EDTNA/ERCA is a multi-disciplinary organisation of individual members. The Association membership is open to nurses, technicians, social workers, dieticians, unit managers, transplant co-ordinators, and any other professionals working with renal patients. EDTNA/ERCA has about 2500 members from 73 countries.

Pharmacoepidemiology introduces the recent advances in Prague in 2018

With the New Year we are delighted to announce a new interesting congress coming in 2018. The 34th International Conference on Pharmacoepidemiology & Therapeutic Risk Management (ICPE 2018) will take place in the Prague Congress Centre in the latter half of 2018. The topic of patients and their execution with medicine prescriptions is reopened in Lisbon.

During the 17th – 19thof November, 2016 the city of Lisbon hosts the 20th Annual Meeting of the European Society for Patient Adherence, Compliance and Persistence (ESPACOMP 2016). Even if the title might sound complicated, the event brings highly relevant topics, which examine the correlation between prescribed medicines and the way they are used by patients. Same as last year in Prague, the meeting is supported with C-IN´s professional services.
